Fish supply

A wide variety of species are landed to Plymouth Fish Market. The South West of England is renowned for the quality of its "day-caught" fish.

These landings by the local inshore fleet are supplemented by landings from the beam  trawler fleet which fishes all round the UK and sends its fish back to Plymouth overland.
