Sutton Harbour, Plymouth, England
was redeveloped as a major,

A unique partnership
between the harbour authority,
Sutton Harbour Company plc
and local fishermen
who formed Plymouth Trawler Agents Limited,
has produced an unrivalled service
to local and visiting fishing vessels
ever since.

The harbour is fully protected and is not only a good place for fishermen to land their catches but also a safe refuge in the event of a breakdown or bad weather.
Access to the harbour is easy, through a lock, manned by watch-keepers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The lock should be called on VHF Channel 12 or Tel: 01752-204732.

Inshore vessels have access at all states
of the tide.

Larger vessels e.g. beam trawlers should always contact the lock in advance as the approaches to the harbour are limited to approx. 3 hours either side of high water.

A minimum depth of 4 metres is maintained
in the harbour at all times to facilitate
landing and the service and maintenance
of vessels.
